Malaysians, Happy Wesak Day! 28th May 2010
Brief Introduction
Celebrated around May by Buddhists which marks three momentous events in Buddha's life - his birthday, enlightenment, and achievement of Nirvana. The celebration begins at dawn when devotees gathering at the temples to meditate on the Eight Precepts. The celebration is highlighted by a candle procession.
Here, JIE HAO and "MCA REVOLUTION" THINK TANK would like to wish all Malaysians especially the Buddhists a very happy, peaceful and prosperous Wesak Day. For non-Buddhists, enjoy your Wesak Holiday, have a good relax and good rest at home. May Malaysians will realize the kindness, mercy, humility, humane of Buddha. It is important for the integration of all nations in Malaysia. May all Malaysians living happily, forgive and forget and not to have grudge among the others. The spirit of Buddha should be embraced and branded in the heart and mind of all Malaysians. Although the value and the spirit might be tiny enough for individuals, but in coherent with a group, with a society, with nations, the spiritual will be enshrined and will drive us to a morale, humane society. Fragmental society will be united, crimes could be combated, together we mediate, together we evolve and together we make our 1 nation! Salam 1 Malaysia! Happy Wesak Day! By JIE HAO
